Got my line back!!!!!

FINALLY!!! I got my Streamyx line back after more than half a month of complaining and reporting countless times.

Sorry folks, I know some of you have been saying how dead my blog has been. Now you know why =P

Just yesterday I was actually thinking of writing something a little more solemn, a bit of an emo post with everything I’ve been feeling lately. But since today’s highlight is me finally getting my internet back, I shall spare you the emo version for now.

YUP, SO.

Thanks to Chu Ern, who passed me the CEO’s email address to escalate the complaint. Honestly, that really did the trick. I sent the email last Friday and got two replies on the same day. Then on Tuesday, a customer service guy finally called me.

And guess what he said? That it was actually a small problem.

A small problem… after more than half a month of repeated complaints.

I really had to give him a piece of my mind. And honestly, calling me on Tuesday already felt late. Monday would have been more appropriate, don’t you think?

Anyway, a technician came over on Wednesday afternoon and fixed it.

Sigh… I really wonder how people work these days. Only when you escalate to the boss do things suddenly start moving. Or maybe that’s when their brains finally kick in.

Alright, at least it’s settled now. Praise God. I seriously cannot live without the internet. And don’t even get me started on the 780-plus spam emails I had to clear. I cannot stand seeing so many unread emails. That’s why I usually check my inbox a few times a day if I can.

I actually had quite a few things I wanted to blog about last week, but now it all feels a bit distant. Hard to recall the exact thoughts and emotions to put them into words.

Maybe when the feeling comes back again, and hopefully this time the internet stays alive, I’ll write about it properly. :)
