Contented for the day... :)

Yes! Feeling really contented with my work progress today.

Managed to complete quite a number of inside magazine layout pages and also worked on the next issue’s cover. Not just one, but three different cover designs. Just got them printed and mounted too.

Honestly, it feels good to be in that “proper” design mode again. It’s been a while since I had to go through the full process like this. Ever since I started heading the department, I don’t usually do the mounting anymore. I’m the one deciding which design works and which goes straight into the bin. =P

But today, I felt like being a bit “pro” again. Plus, I needed to show my parents. So I went all out, mounting everything nicely as if I were presenting to some big client. Haha.

Heading out for dinner soon with a friend I haven’t caught up with in a long time. So glad she called. Perfect timing too, because I was just thinking of finding someone to have dinner with. Talk about coincidence, connection, intuition… whatever you want to call it.

If I manage to read 10 pages from each of the two books I’ve been wanting to finish tonight, I’ll be even more contented. Let’s see how that goes. Heh.
