Random sweet day dreams...

God knew his chosen time;
He bade me slowly ripen to my prime,
And from my boughs within the promised  fruit.
Till storm and sun gave vigor to the root.

BAYARD TAYLOR

As we come to a certain season in life, we begin thinking bout not just a life of our own,
but a life with someone to share with. Have you ever wonder how you are prolly gonna meet that special someone of yours? I think it's just normal that we wonder and imagine a lil here and there. Especially us girls..day dreaming bout when our prince charming will come sweep us off our feet and how it's gonna take place, how's the moment gonna be and what will the story become, from the moment we meet. I often wonder and imagine too. Wondering how my story will unfold. I love listening to couples sharing their story of how they met and then ended up together...

"I knew the first time I saw her..."
"I'd known him as a friend for the longest time, then one day...."
"To tell you the truth, at first  we didnt really like one another that much, just thought we'd be good friends, cos it just seems so impossible...then, out of nowhere...."

Talk to one hundred happily married couples and you'll get one hundred different stories about how two people recognised there was something special between them. I beleive that God makes matches the way He makes snowflakes. No two are exactly alike.

We all know couples who met, knew they were right for each other almost instantly, and married as a matter  of course. Then there are the two people who for the longest time had no romantic feelings about one another, but ended up crazy in love. Others have had to overcome difficult obstacles like distance, or differences in culture and family background in order to make it to the altar. What a variety of stories there are about the success of relationship when God brings 2 person together.

I beleive God knows exactly who best suits you and I as friend and a lifelong love. His ways are mysterious and full of grace. Beforehand, you have no way of knowing what beautiful moment he is dreaming for you. But when time, circumstances, and your inward preparations are just right, He conspires to do the impossible - igniting the fire of interest and attraction.

He leaves it up to you to gently fan the flame. I'm waiting for that moment of mine. God is full of suprises, and I'm assured that God is working on my behalf, painting my special moment right now. I remember 2 friends
who shared some concerns of why is it not happening for her and for him now. Feeling so anxious, wondering when it'll come. Both are very dear to me. I totally understand and know how it feels. Because I've been on that journey before. My dears, I hope you'll be encouraged by my 2 cents worth on this post.

Many a times it's not you that's the problem. It's just not the right time yet. Your destiny is not tied to the people who walk away from you. You may discover that sometimes, if you dont keep things stirred up, God will stir things for you. Meanwhile, keep ourselves at prep, dont let good enough just be good enough! Constantly prepare ourselves to be the best that we can be so that when we meet that special someone, we will be of much value and a blessing to him/her. As of now, give your dreams a new beginning and trust that it's taken care of by God. God is more interested bout our love life than we ourselves do. =)

Besides, we have each other now. Enjoy our moments together before 'someone else' comes by and steal the attention away from us. *wink*...love u guys loads.Hugs!~

So much are the joys of singlehood, the freedom, the space to grow and the avenue to slowly accommodate the criterion of a destiny that we all look forward to. I guess the cue for love would come when we have enough room for it.

Spotted this on a friend's blog. Brooke Fraser sang this...

In the autumn on the ground, between the traffic and the traffic and the ordinary sounds
I am thinking signs and seasons while a north wind blows through
i watch as lovers pass me by
Walking stories - whos and hows and whys
Musing lazily on love
Pondering you
I'll give it time, give it space and be still for a spell
When it's time to walk that way we wana walk it well

I'll be waiting for you baby
I'll be holding back the darkest night
Love is waiting til we're ready, til it's right
Love is waiting

It's my caution not the cold
there's no other hand that i would rather hold
the climate changes, im singing for the strangers about you
dont keep time, slow the pace
Honey hold on if you can
the bets are getting surer now that you're my man

I could right a million songs about the way you say my name
I could live a lifetime with you and then do it all again
and like I can't force the sun to rise or hasten summer's start,
neither should I rush my way into your heart
