Strangers...

This song really made my day when it came on the radio.

And as I was listening, I was reminded that the kind of relationship it talks about doesn’t only apply to a special someone. It can mean so much more than that.

Don’t we all wish life could feel this sweet all the time?
Like everything could just be that simple.

“Strangers… unexpected. what you did to my heart…”

So true. So much in life comes unexpectedly. Moments, memories, situations. They don’t just disappear. They stay. And we don’t erase them, we learn to walk through them.

But this song spoke to me beyond just a person.

It reminded me of my relationship with God.

We were once strangers. I never imagined I would come to know a God who is so powerful, so loving, so present. And yet, here I am.

Through every storm, He reminds me He is there.
Through every tear, He stays.
Through the quiet moments and the beautiful ones, through every season, He never steps away.

And this is the journey I want to keep walking. With Him.

Because only with Him does life become a truly meaningful journey.

At the end of it all, I want to be standing at the beginning of eternity with Him. Nothing can separate us, because He has already paid the price for me.

God, if You are not removing the mountains in my life right now, then I will climb them.

There’s no point praying for every trial to simply disappear, especially the things I cannot just switch off overnight.

This is a process. A journey of growth and learning. And I choose to accept it.

Isaiah 49 reminds me that I am a polished arrow. Hidden in Your quiver, being prepared.

And when the time comes, You will release me.
And I will hit the mark.
