"Will you marry me?...I thee wed"
Musing lazily on love, Pondering you, I'll give it time, give it space & be still for a spell...Indeed I am...Thanks Josh for the comment on my previous post. The song really speaks of exactly how I feel deep down...should i sigh now..HAHA!!! nahhh..maybe not..I shan't...:)
Sigh....ok that was a sweeet sigh....*smiles*....
I've been coming across quite a few love poems lately...just warms my heart so much reading thru them...I will cuddle in bed, under my soft cozy comforter reading em...here's one that's trully sweet..

If ever two were one, then surely we,
If ever man were lov'd by wife, then thee;
If ever wife was happy in a man,
Compare with me ye women if you can.
I prize thy love more than whole Mines of gold,
Or all the riches that the East doth hold.
My love is such that Rivers cannot quench,
Nor ought but love from thee, give recompense.
They love is such that I can no way repay,
The heavens reward thee manifold I pray.
Then while we lived, in love let's so persevere,
That when we live no more, we may live ever.

Then before all they stand, the holy vow
And ring of gold, no fond illusions now,
Bind her as his, Across the threshold led,
And every tear kissed off as soon as shed,
His house she enters, there to be a light,
Shining within, when all without is night;
A guardian angel o'er his life presiding,
Doubling his pleasures and his cares dividing.

Some friends getting married soon and others having just got attached and engaged. Brings me to think alot more bout rship and mariage than I already always have...perhaps this post shall be called " Will you marry me? I thee Wed"...
"He has been feeling out the emotional environment with the one he loves, They have talked about what they like, what they want, what they dont, they have talked about who they are and how they beleive. They share a common commitment to walk in God's ways. He is certain that he wants to spend the rest of his life with her. He is sure that the intention is mutual.
He is ready. It is the culmination of months, or years, of getting acquainted, praying for direction, nurturing a relationship, learning the give and take of love, and seeking the wisdom of
friends and family.
He has rehearsed this moment in his mind a thousand times, and is not about to ask the all important question on a whim.
Why, then, do his lips quiver and knees knock? Why is this man's heart pounding?"

Just three words... I thee wed ...
When the three words are spoken, the course of two individuals change forever. The dreams and destinies of a man and a woman merge.
Just three words...
Two become one...sigh..so touching..I'm so emo dee typing out this post here =P...but i just cant stop..the inspirations keep flowing...
When a groom recites the words I THEE WED to his bride he pays the highest compliment. He is - with God, his family, and best friends - Looking on, saying to her, "There is not other, nor will there ever be. You are the person I have chosen as my partner, my best friend, my lover, my companion...FOR LIFE."
When a bride says I THEE WED to her groom, she is revealing the deepest places of her soul, giving him the key to her own personal garden of Eden. She is choosing him to be the father of her children, her comforter, protector, and ally in life. She says, "Never will I want another. Never will I walk away. Never will I allow my love for you to die."
Just three words.
Wow... isn't it so powerful? The meaning behind those 3 words..it speaks volumes.. I can prolly cry when I'm reciting my personal vows to my husband on the altar in future..(Yea..those of you who know me well...You are definitely nodding your head to that. =P)
Those vows, simple as it may seem, and similar everytime when you hear it..but it means so much to me. Every single time when I hear a couple reciting it, I can just tear. Because every couple is like a snowflake that God has created. Different from others. Only a pair in the whole wide universe. Thus every vow that is recited has it's own deep and significant meaning to it. Oh I cant wait to attend another friend's wedding soon to hear them commit their lives and reciting their love to each other thru the vows.
Gosh I have so much more to write bout the meaning of the words in the vows..I shall continue another time...I'd love to write more bout it! ~ Till my next post, hope you enjoyed this~ =)
