The Cameron Escapade - Pt 2

I need a break from staring at layouts all day.

So here I am, taking a little breather… And yes, I shall not be lazy this time. Photos are coming. Haha.

Where did I leave off… oh yes. After the steamboat dinner, we headed over to Cameron Highlands Hotel to take some photos.

Actually, my main mission was to use the washroom. Since it’s such a posh place, I figured the washrooms must be super clean.
I had been holding it in since dinner, so I was really looking forward to it.

As we didn't know better… we're not allowed in unless you’re a guest.

aiks...

So I had to withstand it all the way back to the guesthouse. But while I was suffering quietly, Sandra and Gary were happily snapping photos. So of course… photos first.

Here's us..playing arnd with our shadow..That's Gary's hand, Sandra in the middle and me..
There's another pic..sorry pic not here will update again...

Oh wait..before that... I missed out some pics of our 1st day there..After lunch, we went for tea at T Cafe.
STARBUCKS!!!!!!! Starbucks is brewing at Camerons!!! lol... Gary was so excited to see Starbucks from far away! WHY? For the free WIFI only! But to his dismay, he found out that it's only opening soon! Haha...his disappointed look...it was right in infront of Starbucks, man...the construction workers were looking at him while walking in and out! Me?
I was laughing at the side, of course!! I was too embarassed to pose..LOL!!!!! =P

Strawberry scone!! I like how they serve it with the whipped cream...nice!
(I went there for scones but I dont remember really trying it out, though...just a lil piece...haha..funny...)

Ooo...strawberry cheesecake!! I love cheesecakes!!
(You know..everything seems to be about strawberries in Cameron...parts of the streets are filled with strawberry balloons and decos...etc.)

We ordered..chocolate and strawberry dunno wat...definitely not scone..hmm was it pancake?? i think so..

Sandra is enjoying her strawberry scone!

I was enjoying the view outside... It had a very natural look... till I noticed Sandra trying to take a pic of me. She told me to stay w that pose... Haha, by that time... it didn't feel natural anymore... thus that look on my face in the pic. =P

"sAY CHEESE!! and show me your sweet, sweet smile!" ehe..=)

"Ok, I got my fries!! So craving for it, man!! Hmm...Next where should I start? Can't make up my mind!! Everything looks delicious!!"

Oh, this is our room, by the way. I slept on that bed on the right by the window, Sandra on the left ... and Gary?? On the floor, obviously! ... Yeah, so, gentlemen! But on the extra mattress, of course! hehe..

There's a pic of us packing up to leave...but I don't have it here with me...I will edit again... =P

Gosh.. time flies, man, when you are enjoying yourself! It's already the 2nd day!! Anyway...we had...

Pancake for breakfast!! Gary and I had apricot pancakes. Sandra had the apple-flavoured one, I think! Quite a big piece. I couldn't even finish mine. This was the stall Gary was hunting for since we arrived...and who knew...it was actually so near to the guest house we were staying at.

There's actually another pic of me with the pancake, but I'm not going to post it here... Because I think I look educated in that pic! Sandra was trying to convince me that it isn't while editing this post...but, well!! STILL NO!! lol...

Next up! To the Market!! Need to get some corn for Mum and some aunties!!

... and the crazy si lai moment begins here...

The veges!!! Can go crazy too! I didn't bother if I looked like an aunty man! I felt so contented shopping for groceries!! Too bad I can't buy more... I bought quite a lot...filled up Gary's car boot!

The roses are just so charming! So tempted to buy...so cheap!! Only RM5 for at least 10 stalks...if not mistaken!

Me and me exclusively hired a 'maid'... Lol...not bad...strong... 'cute' (personal joke). Gary, you should be able to catch it...helpful...can even chauffeur you all the way up...anyone interested?? I can give you a contact number.
(Sorry la Gary..I just had to do that...=P)

BBQ Corn... Doesn't look that nice, though...but tastes good!! Super sweet!!

Next Stop! STRAWBERRY FARM!!! My 1st time plucking strawberries!!!!!!!!

Get set!! Go!!! I was really excited, man!! I remember screaming excitedly over the phone when my mum called.

I think this pic is qualified to get into the strawberry farm brochure! Look at the expression!! HAHA!!

After browsing through the pics again... I noticed that Gary and Sandra are really serious about plucking strawberries, man!! Don't mess with them...don't even think bout laying your hands on their strawberries!! LOL!!
Notice the seriousness?? =P Look at the way he holds the tray... like his precious babies!!

Look at the face! The strawberry analyser! Lol..

So serious wan!!

Me as usual...slumber..I'm excited to be plucking strawberries!!

Look at it!!!!!! ~*drools*~

Alas! Sandra, super thrilled with the strawberries we picked!

Our very last stop!!! To the tea plantation!!

See who is up there? Went up, captured some really breathtaking views... On the way down nearly pk... =P... A little sense of regret that I didn't climb up, actually... oh well. I guess there's all 'next time' =)

As you can see...this is the 'tai kuai tau' who started the jumping shots! This is the very 1st jumping pic taken by Sandra, and it's superb!...Pros will always be pros!! Mind you, it's only with a normal digital camera...not a DSLR...hehe...

Gosh, I have no idea how many times we had to do the jump to get it right, man! Trust me...there were quite a few horrible ones...haha...this is the best one! I seldom jump for pics, and I honestly felt weird doing it again and again at 1st...I was quite self-conscious. HARLO! There were people watching!! Gary and Sandra were thrilled, I'm sure! LOL!! Oh, alright...it was fun, though...and I got hooked jumping, too, at the end! =P

One of my favourite!

Aww...memories...

Group Pic!!Wouldn't be complete without one! =) Love this! So nostalgic! I'm probably going to print it out and frame it up!

Another groupie pic before leaving..

Lovely. Our last shot before leaving the plantation

Notice anything different here?? =)
On the way down the hill...the scenery was irresistable...we just had to stop by the roadside to take a few shots
